Dzisiaj chcę Wam pokazać nietuzinkowe miejsce, w którym się zatrzymaliśmy - Willa Krych, apartament z duszą. Dostałam zgodę od właścicielki, aby pokazać, co mnie w środku urzekło, i napisać parę słów o poprzednim właścicielu - Zdzisławie Reju. A kto wie, być może kogoś to zachęci, aby odwiedzić to miejsce?

Today I want to show you an extraordinary place where we stayed - Willa Krych, an apartment with a soul. I received permission from the owner to show what captivated me inside and to write a few words about the previous owner - Zdzisław Rej. And who knows, maybe it will encourage someone to visit this place?

Willa z zewnątrz wygląda niepozornie. W środku znajduje się kilka zamieszkałych apartamentów oraz apartament na wynajem (dostępny np. na bookingu). Składa się z dużego pokoju dziennego połączonego z kuchnią, łazienki i oddzielnej sypialni. Jest to 65 metrów kwadratowych, więc przestrzeni jest dużo. Są dwa balkony - z wyjściem z kuchni i z łazienki, więc dość specyficznie. Podłogi drewniane, wystrój trąci myszką ;) Ale przytulnie i wygodnie, wszystko co potrzebne jest na wyposażeniu. Oprócz tego świetna lokalizacja - dosłownie parę kroków od Parku Zdrojowego, ale przy tej spokojniejszej i cichszej części.
Duszę tworzy nie tylko staroświecki charakter wnętrza, ale przede wszystkim obrazy. Ogólnie, na dzień dobry, od wejścia możesz poczuć, że mieszkał tu artysta.

The villa looks inconspicuous from the outside. Inside there are several inhabited apartments and an apartment for rent (available e.g. on booking). It consists of a large living room connected to the kitchen, bathroom and separate bedroom. It is 65 square meters, so there is a lot of space. There are two balconies - with an exit from the kitchen and from the bathroom, so it's quite unique. Wooden floors, the decor old-fashioned a bit ;) But cozy and comfortable, everything you need is provided. In addition, a great location - literally a few steps from the Spa Park, but in the calmer and quieter part.
The soul is created not only by the old-fashioned character of the interior, but above all by the paintings. Generally speaking, from the moment you enter you can feel that an artist lived here.

Największy i najbardziej rzucający się w oczy to ten jaskrawo niebieski w sypialni, abstrakcyjny, przedstawiający rybę (?).

The largest and most eye-catching one is the bright blue one in the bedroom, abstract, depicting a fish (?).

Na szafce pod ścianą oparty stał tez obraz przedstawiający moim zdaniem panią na plaży.

There was also a painting leaning on a cabinet against the wall, depicting, in my opinion, a lady on the beach.

W innym zaś miejscu taki abstrakcyjny czerwony krajobraz (?).

In another place there is an abstract red landscape (?).

W kuchni na górnej półce trzy zielone jabłuszka.

There are three green apples on the top shelf in the kitchen.

W kuchni poza tym wisi taki obraz - przypiecka z kotem. Ciepły i miły, ale w zgoła innym stylu niż pozostałe. Ciekawe czy wyszedł spod tego samego pędzla?

There is also a painting hanging in the kitchen - a casserole with a cat. Warm and nice, but in a completely different style than the others. I wonder if it came from the same brush?

Jest też sporo ładnych szkiców na ścianach.

There are also a lot of nice sketches on the walls.

"Zdzisław Rej urodził się w 1955 roku w Świdnicy. W 1981 roku uzyskał dyplom aktorski na wydziale lalkarskim PWST w Warszawie, wydział zamiejscowy w Białymstoku. Pracował m.in.: w Teatrze Kubuś w Kielcach, Białostockim Teatrze Lalek, Teatrze Animacji w Jeleniej Górze, Teatrze Animacji w Poznaniu. W latach 1991-1999 był dyrektorem naczelnym i artystycznym Teatru im. Andersena w Lublinie. Ostanie lata pracy na scenie związał z Teatrem Lalki i Aktora w Łomży, w którym pracował przez 10 lat."

"Zdzisław Rej was born in 1955 in Świdnica. In 1981, he obtained an acting diploma at the puppetry department of the State Theater School in Warsaw, branch in Białystok. He worked, among others, at the Kubuś Theater in Kielce, the Białystok Puppet Theater, the Animation Theater in Jelenia Góra , Animation Theater in Poznań. In the years 1991-1999 he was the general and artistic director of the Andersen Theater in Lublin. He spent his last years of work on stage with the Puppet and Actor Theater in Łomża, where he worked for 10 years."

Ostatnie lata życia spędził w Rabce-Zdrój, gdzie był związany z Teatrem Lalek Rabcio: http://teatr.rabcio.pl/rezyserzy/ .
Oprócz lalkarstwa i teatru jak widać pasjonował się też malarstwem, pozostawiając po sobie parę ciekawych obrazów. Obecna właścicielka jest, z tego co kojarzę, jego szwagierką, i zdecydowała się nie sprzedawać apartamentu ze względu na rodzinny sentyment i niesłychany urok tego miejsca.

He spent the last years of his life in Rabka-Zdrój, where he was associated with the Rabcio Puppet Theater: http://teatr.rabcio.pl/rezyserzy/.
In addition to puppetry and theater, he was also passionate about painting, leaving behind some interesting paintings. The current owner is, as far as I know, his sister-in-law, and she decided not to sell the apartment due to the family sentiment and the incredible charm of this place.
