Na niedzielny obiad wybraliśmy się do restauracji La Cucina, gdzie zostaliśmy zaproszeni z okazji urodzin kuzynki. La Cucina to pyszna, włoska restauracja zlokalizowana na Ptasim Osiedlu w Katowicach. Utrzymana w klimacie industrialnym, obecnie rzecz jasna przystrojona adekwatnie do zbliżających się Świąt.

For Sunday lunch we went to the La Cucina restaurant, where we were invited to celebrate my cousin's birthday. La Cucina is a delicious Italian restaurant located in Ptasie Osiedle in Katowice. Maintained in an industrial climate, currently, of course, decorated adequately for the upcoming Christmas.

Na danie główne wybrałam policzki wołowe na puree ziemniaczanym z buraczkami i był to doskonały wybór - mięso delikatne, rozpływające się w ustach. Bombel z radością wyjadał z mojego talerza - i nawet mięso mu smakowało, ale oczywiście największą furorę zrobiły buraczki.

For the main course, I chose beef cheeks on mashed potatoes with beets and it was an excellent choice - tender meat, melting in the mouth. Bombel happily ate from my plate - and he even liked the meat, but of course the beetroots made the greatest sensation.

Nie byłabym sobą, gdybym zrezygnowała z deseru: beza Pavlowa z owocami to najlepsze, co może się człowiekowi w życiu przydarzyć!

I wouldn't be myself if I gave up dessert: Pavlova meringue with fruit is the best thing that can happen to anyone in life!
