Z okazji soboty zrobiliśmy katowicki spacer - poszliśmy do Parku Zadole.

On the occasion of Saturday, we took a walk in Katowice - we went to the Zadole Park.

Szliśmy tam nietypową drogą, bo terenami kolei, o niezbyt atrakcyjnych widokach, np. mijając taką nieurodziwą wieżę.

We walked there on an unusual road, along the railway grounds, with not very attractive views, e.g. passing such an ugly tower.

No ale - nowe kilometry same się nie zrobią :)

But - new kilometers need to be done!

Okrągła knajpa w parku. Miejsce rzekomo kultowe... Jak dla mnie, widziałam wiele znacznie bardziej sympatycznych miejsc, ale jednak można tu wpaść na coś zimnego i mokrego.

Round pub in the park. A supposedly cult place ... As for me, I saw a lot more nice places, but you can come across something cold and wet here.

No i wreszcie - cel wielu wycieczek pieszych i rowerowych, tężnia solankowa. Znacznie większa niż ta na naszym osiedlu, dwustronna.

And finally - the destination of many hiking and biking tours, the graduation tower. Much bigger than the one on our estate, two-sided.

Zaraz przy parku powstaje nowy basen. Katowice wpadły na świetny pomysł, zamiast kolejnego wielkiego parku wodnego postawiło na mały basen w niemal każdej dzielnicy. Dzięki temu każdy ma blisko do pływalni, gdzie może popływać za niewielkie pieniądze (godzina kosztuje 8 zł z katowicką kartą mieszkańca).

A new swimming pool is being built right next to the park. Katowice came up with a great idea, instead of another huge water park, it put on a small swimming pool in almost every district. Thanks to this, everyone is close to the swimming pool, where they can swim for little money (an hour costs PLN 8 with a Katowice resident card).

Wracaliśmy inną drogą - przez słynne ligocie osiedle zwane gettem. Ma ono własny zielony dziedziniec i jest dość ciekawe architektonicznie.

We returned by a different route - through the famous ghetto estate in the Ligota. It has its own green courtyard and is quite architecturally interesting.

A tu pewna architektoniczna szpetotka, jednak jakoś tak udanie wkomponowana stylem w otoczenie.

And here is a certain architectural ugliness, but somehow so successfully integrated into the surroundings with its style.
